Industrial Insight

Industrial Insight was founded in December of 2016 with the mission of helping customers use time-series data more effectively. Jim Gavigan, the president and founder of Industrial Insight, had worked with OSIsoft and sold the PI System for several years had seen that most customers weren't fully utilizing all of its capabilities. The early years of the company were all about helping customers utilize their PI Systems more effectively.

Over time, Industrial Insight branched out into business intelligence platforms, advanced analytics tools, and other historians/time-series databases to help their customers. The mission remains the same – getting customers to use their data more effectively to drive reliability of their operations and to drive higher profits through better data-centric decision making. The tools may change and evolve, but the mission of the company will not. Industrial Insight operates in North America, but is open to working with clients around the world.
